Master Non-Thesis Degree in Turkey: Private Universities - LATEST 2026

A non-thesis master's is taught through coursework, without a research thesis at the end. The private universities listed below all run master's programs of this type, and you can apply to any of them through StudyLeo. Most programs ask for a bachelor's degree in a related field and proof of English, or of Turkish for programs taught in Turkish.

All but one of these universities are in Istanbul. The exception is Nuh Naci Yazgan University in Kayseri, founded in 2009 and the smallest on the list with 2,844 students. If you want a large university, Istanbul Aydin University has 50,000 students and Istanbul Medipol University 46,488. Istanbul Gedik University is much smaller, at 6,254.

Haliç University and Bahçeşehir University are the oldest here, both founded in 1998. Istinye University, founded in 2015, is the newest. Every university on the list has a dormitory. Fees depend on the program and its language of teaching, so compare the programs at two or three of these universities before you decide.
