Teacher education system in Turkey

Career paths after graduation

Teaching standards and accreditation
YÖK regulates teacher-training programs in Turkey. Universities must meet its standards for curriculum, faculty qualifications and training facilities, and YÖK recognizes the universities that offer these programs. Other countries decide for themselves whether to accept a Turkish teaching qualification, and teacher licensing rules differ from country to country. Ask the education authority in the country where you plan to teach what it requires before you enroll.
