How the program is structured
Medical education in Turkey has two main phases:
- Pre-clinical phase (years 1 to 3). Students learn the basic sciences, such as anatomy, physiology and pharmacology. The discipline is strict, with a lot of laboratory work and cadaver study.
- Clinical phase (years 4 to 6). Students rotate through hospital departments. The 6th year is the internship, when students work full time as "candidate doctors" under supervision.

Admission and required documents
