How MBBS is structured in Turkey
The first three years cover basic sciences. The last three are clinical training, and the final year is a full-time internship based in a hospital.
During the clinical years, students rotate through 5 to 7 departments. Common rotations are internal medicine, general surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, and emergency medicine. Many students spend time in hospitals before the internship year starts.

Curriculum and teaching
