All Universities in Ankara: Private Universities to Compare - LATEST 2026

The 13 private universities StudyLeo lists in Ankara all have dormitories and take applications through StudyLeo. Compare them by age, size and program.

StudyLeo's Ankara list has 13 universities, all of them private. Each one has a dormitory and accepts applications through StudyLeo, so what separates them is the program you want, its fee, and how big or established the university is.

Some of the oldest are also among the largest. Baskent University, from 1994, is the biggest on the list with 19,500 students. Bilkent University, founded in 1986, has 13,000, and Atilim University, founded in 1996, has 10,000.

Founding year is a weak guide to size, though. Ankara Medipol University opened in 2018 and has 12,000 students, more than Çankaya University, which dates from 1997 and has 7,786. OSTIM Technical University and Lokman Hekim University both started in 2017, yet OSTIM has 8,270 students and Lokman Hekim 4,698. For a small university, Ankara Bilim University has 1,364 students and Yuksek Ihtisas University 2,317.

Once you have a shortlist, open each university's program list. Teaching is mostly in Turkish or English, and the language and fee are set for each program, so check both for your subject before you apply.
