Frequently Asked Questions and Answers
Turkey draws Russian students who want an international degree without much cultural or geographic distance. Universities teach in English and in Turkish, and their curricula follow international standards.
Academic system and degree structure
Turkish higher education follows the Bologna Process, which makes degrees compatible across Europe and beyond. Bachelor's programs typically last four years and master's programs one to two years. Doctoral studies are research-oriented. Assessment relies on continuous evaluation, coursework and applied learning.
For Russian students, credits, transcripts and diplomas are standardized. That makes recognition simpler if they continue to postgraduate study or work abroad.
